Blackburn Romey is proud to participate in the Toys for Tots drive, supporting children and families across Indiana this holiday season. Each year, this meaningful initiative brings communities together to share kindness and ensure that every child experiences the magic of receiving a gift. For a law firm built on compassion and service, giving back through this drive reflects the same care and dedication they bring to helping those affected by personal injuries throughout the state.
The holidays can be a difficult time for families. Through this effort, our firm aims to remind everyone that generosity and community support can brighten even the most challenging days. Something as simple as donating a toy can turn a moment of uncertainty into one of happiness for a child in need.
The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December, distributing them as Christmas gifts to children from low-income households in their local communities. The organization also supports children throughout the year with back-to-school events and birthday donations, creating ongoing opportunities to make a positive difference.
Participating in the program is simple. You can purchase a new toy, game, or book for children between the ages of 0 and 18 and drop it off at designated collection sites. Every donation adds to the collective impact that strengthens local families, fostering joy and connection across neighborhoods.
Beyond its charitable mission, this drive reflects values that align with our purpose, helping people through challenging circumstances.
Community members throughout Indiana are invited to bring donations to Blackburn Romey’s Jefferson Blvd. office. The collection runs now through December 1st, giving everyone plenty of time to participate before the holidays arrive.
Items should be new and unwrapped to ensure safety and accessibility for distribution. Ideal gifts include books, educational games, dolls, puzzles, action figures, and art supplies. Avoid wrapping or labeling gifts so they can be properly sorted by volunteers.
For parents and families who wish to get involved together, dropping off donations can become a meaningful holiday tradition. It’s an opportunity to teach children the value of generosity while directly contributing to the well-being of other families in the community.
Supporting local initiatives like the Toys for Tots program reflects Blackburn Romey’s deep commitment to Indiana residents both inside and outside the courtroom. The firm’s involvement in community service projects, food drives, and charitable partnerships continues to underscore a belief that compassion is at the heart of justice.
The Toys for Tots drive serves as another way to extend that compassion. Every donation represents a shared act of kindness that connects people through empathy and gratitude.
At Blackburn Romey, we invite everyone across Indiana to take part in this year’s Toys for Tots drive and share the joy of giving. Community members can drop off new, unwrapped toys, games, or books for children ages 0–18 at the firm’s Jefferson Blvd. location now through December 1st.
Together, we can make this season brighter for children who deserve to celebrate with hope and happiness.
